WHITEHALL, Pa.: This is August, a friendly husky mix who is ready to find herself a new family!
August is three years old, weighs 47 pounds, and was surrendered to Peaceable Kingdom after a family member became allergic to her.
She gets along with small dogs, some bigger dogs, (she is a bit more selective with larger breeds) and has spent time around children of all ages. She can be cat-tested if requested.
August walks well on a leash, is house and crate-trained, and knows multiple commands. One of her eyes was injured when she was a newborn puppy, but the injury doesn't bother her.
August is great dog and would fit into all kinds of homes!
