ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A second Allentown man faces homicide charges after a man was shot and killed early Sunday at a city nightclub, according to court documents filed Wednesday.

Pedro Junior Paulino, 35, of Allentown was charged with a dozen felony counts, including criminal homicide, three counts of attempted homicide and six counts of aggravated assault, court records show.

Court records indicate Paulino was not arrested as of 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Charging documents were not immediately available Wednesday, as courts closed at 5 p.m.

David Isaiah Rivera, 26, of Allentown faces eight felony charges, including criminal homicide and three counts each of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Authorities allege Paulino and Rivera fired multiple shots into a group outside BKK Lounge, 1500 Union Blvd., authorities allege.

Ivan Diaz, 32, of Lower Macungie Township, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at a local hospital, shortly after he was shot multiple times, according to the Lehigh County coroner.

Three others were shot early Sunday morning after a fight inside the club moved into the parking lot, charging documents state. All three are expected to survive.

One man was shot in the hip and thigh, another man was shot in the foot, and a woman was shot in both legs, according to court documents.

At least 10 shots fired

Surveillance footage showed Rivera get a gun from his car after being told to leave the club. He and Paulino then shot into a group of people outside, authorities allege.

Evidence markers on the ground Sunday indicated at least 10 shots were fired.

Broken glass was seen scattered across the parking lot of an Allentown night club where a shooting took place early Sunday morning.

Two shooters left the area in separate vehicles, but police said they used license-plate readers to identify Rivera, who was arrested and charged the day of the shooting.

Police linked Paulino to the shooting through Rivera’s social media posts and a “very distinct tattoo” on Paulino’s hand, charging documents state.

Diaz’s killing was the first reported homicide in Allentown this year.
