ALLENTOWN, Pa. — An Allentown man died Saturday from injuries he suffered when he was hit by a school bus 23 years ago, according to the Lehigh County coroner.
Nassim Younes, 86, was struck by a bus on the afternoon of Jan. 4, 2002 while crossing the road in the 300 block of Tilghman Street, Coroner Daniel Buglio said Tuesday.

Younes suffered a traumatic brain injury in the crash that day, according to the coroner, who ruled his death an accident.
Younes was "care-dependent" for the rest of his life and was in and out of hospitals for treatment, Buglio told LehighValleyNews.com.
Allentown Police Department did not immediately respond Tuesday afternoon to a request for more information about the January 2002 crash and Younes’ condition over the past two decades.
