BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Maren Morris, who has topped the country charts but may be best known for her dance music collaboration "In the Middle" with Grey and Zedd, will headline the main stage at Bethlehem's Musikfest festival in August, it was announced Monday.
Morris will perform on Aug. 12.
It's her first visit to the Lehigh Valley since she played Allentown Fair in 2018 with One Direction singer Niall Horan.
The show is the second country music act among the four Musikfest headliners announced so far for Musikfest's 40th year, which will run Aug. 4-13 in downtown Bethlehem and the SteelStacks campus in South Bethlehem.
Previously announced was Grammy Award-winning country music duo Dan + Shayon Aug. 6. Also set for the main stage are alt-rockers Goo Goo Dolls and O.A.R. on Aug. 9, and indie-pop trio AJR on opening night Aug. 4 for Musikfest’s main stage lineup.

Morris broke onto the country chart with the double-platinum hit "My Church" in 2016 and followed that with the chart-topping, platinum hit "I Could Use a Love Song" in 2017. That also gave her a platinum, No. 1 album, "Hero."
She also won a Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance in 2017 for "My Church."
But 2018's "The Middle" with the EDM DJs that gave Morris a six-time-platinum hit that went to No. 5 on the overall chart.
In 2019, she followed with "The Bones" with Hozier. That song also went to No. 1 and hit four times platinum.
Last year, she had the gold hit "Circles This Around Town." Her most recent single is "I Can't Love You Anymore."
In all, she's been nominated for 17 Grammy Awards, including three this year, with Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for "Circles Around Town" and Best Country Album for "Humble Quest," which hit No. 2 on the Country chart.
Musikfest for the past two years has not only returned from the pandemic restrictions, but added an 11th headline act by offering a Thursday “preview” concert. It was country star Darius Rucker in 2021 and Boyz II Men last year.
