LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Shye Roberts ended her journey on this season of "The Voice" in second place.

The 18-year-old Bethlehem singer — and contestant on Team Michael Bublé — has been a fan favorite, but in the end, Sofronio Vasquez was declared the winner of the 26th season of the NBC show.

It's also Bublé first win on "The Voice" as a judge and he shared some parting words with Roberts before the reveal.

"... You have something so special."

"We are going to have a future together where I watch you make beautiful music for people," Bublé said. "They need you, you have something so special."

Viewers voted for Roberts to advance to the finale of the show and judges consistently praised her skill.

Early on, guest mentor Carly Pearce said "Shye's voice is one in a million."

Judge Reba McEntire said Robert's voice "stood out" the first time she heard her sing.

"It's round, it's full, it's pure, it's big bodied, down the lowland," McEntire said. "It is so crisp, you can hear every word you say. You mesmerize me. I love the way you sing.”

The other five finalists were: Sydney Sterlace on Team Gwen Stefani (third place), Danny Joseph on Team Reba McEntire (fourth place), and Jeremy Beloate on Team Snoop Dogg (fifth place),

Earlier in the night, Bublé and Roberts shared one last moment when they sang a jazzy rendition of Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra's "Something Stupid."

Throughout this season, the Canadian crooner pointed out Roberts' endearing personality and versatile vocal range.

" I see you as always being so genuine," Bublé said. "... I chose this song because I always thought it was such a sweet thing watching Frank Sinatra and his daughter Nancy sing it together."

Shye's finale moments

On Monday's "Live Finale, Part 1," Roberts made her bid for first place with two riveting performances — covers of Joan Osborne's "One of Us and "Falling" by Harry Styles.

Her Styles cover impressed Snoop Dogg so much that he offered her a recording contract with his record label.

Bublé compared her voice to Adele, Barbara Streisand and late singers, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn.

" Nobody sounds like her. When you turn on the radio, you're going know it's her."

" Nobody sounds like her. When you turn on the radio, you're going know it's her," Bublé said Monday.  "It's madness. This quiet kid walks out on stage, and when the lights go on, she becomes the superhero."

In October, Roberts began her journey on "The Voice" with a blind audition, an euphonious cover of Five for Fighting's "Superman (It's Not Easy)" which got a four-chair turn from the judges.

Roberts, her mother Sheila, and her stepdad moved to Bethlehem in 2023 from Glen Cove on Long Island, New York.

She finished her senior year at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts earlier this year.

At the charter school, she belonged to the treble and touring choir and performed at their coffeehouse performances at Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem.
