BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A country music singer who had a five-times-platinum hit in 2015 and has since released five more gold and platinum hits will is coming to Wind Creek Event Center, it was announced.
Chris Janson, whose song “Buy Me a Boat” peaked at No. 2 and sold double-platinum in 2015, will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 9.

Since "Buy Me a Boat," Janson has had gold and platinum hits with 2016's "Holdin' Her," 2017's "Fix a Drink" and "Drunk Girl," and 2019's "Good Vibes" and "Done."
The last four of those songs all were Top 10 Country hits, and "Good Vibes" and "Done" both hit No. 1.
His latest Top 10 hit was "All I Need Is You," which peaked at No. 3 in 2023.
His most recent single was last year's "Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get."

Janson helped pen Tim McGraw’s 2012 single “Truck Yeah,” played harmonica on Lee Brice’s album “Hard 2 Love” and wrote the title track to Justin Moore’s 2013 album “Off the Beaten Path.”
In 2013 he released his self-titled debut EP, which peaked at No. 27 on the Country chart with the Top 40 single “Better I Don’t.”

He opened for Cole Swindell at Allentown’s PPL Center in 2018 and headlined the Sounds of Summer concert series at Quakertown's Univest Performance Center in 2020.
