BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Don't feel like lighting your own fireworks at home this year?
Plenty of spots in the Lehigh Valley have you covered. And, if fireworks aren't your thing, plenty of local events host patriotic activities. Find out when and where, below.
City of Bethlehem
The Bethlehem Municipal Band will perform a free concert on July 4th at 7:30 p.m. at the City Center Plaza, preceding the city's firework show.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., fireworks will be fired from Sand Island, with the best visibility around the plaza on East Church Street.
In the event of inclement weather, fireworks will be postponed to the same time the following day.
Sayre Mansion is also offering an event from 5 to 9 p.m. with a view of the city's fireworks for $79 per person and $29 per child 8 years old and under. Tickets can be purchased on eventbrite.com.
Lodging tickets cost $329 plus tax, and includes two people per room, overnight accommodations and breakfast.

SteelStacks also is offering Independence Day festivities from 3 to 11 p.m. on July 4.
Live music will take place from 3:30 to 11 p.m., featuring John DeRosa Band, Hydraulic Lime, Big Bone Daddy and The Allentown Band.
Residents 21 years old and up can purchase $69 tickets for the SteelStacks' Fourth of July Fireworks Party at 7 p.m., which offers access to the Musikfest Cafe and the Wind Creek Deck, a buffet and more live music.
Coca-Cola Park
The IronPigs are hosting "The Great American Blast" presented by TD Bank. The event features a fireworks show around 9:15 p.m.
Parking costs $5 per car and park entrance costs $8 per person, except for children under two years old.
Don't want to cook? You can purchase a $26 picnic patio ticket, which features a handful of Independence Day-esque foods.
Dorney Park
Dorney Park's Star-Spangled Nights are back.
From July 4 to 6, the park will premier a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
Lehigh Valley Zoo
The Schnecksville-based zoo will host an Independence Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Entertainment will take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., with food available by Geakers Tacos.

Alburtis
The Alburtis Area Community Center will hold its Alburtis Community Days Carnival from July 3-6 at 220 W. 2nd St. The event is open from 5 to 10 p.m. until Saturday, where hours switch to 1 to 10 p.m. on its last day.
Admission is free to the event which will feature live bands, bingo, food trucks, local craft vendors and carnival rides, but no fireworks this year.

Nazareth
The borough is hosting a July 4th kazoo parade.
The parade will begin at Nazareth High School on Center Street at 9:45 a.m. before officially setting off at 10 a.m. proceeding down Belvidere Street, onto Main Street, and around the circle, then ending at Council Chambers.

Woodstone Country Club
In Danielsville, Woodstone Country Club will hold its Fourth of July celebration the following day.
On Friday, July 5, the celebration will begin at 4 p.m., featuring family-friendly activities and more for the thrill-seekers in life like helicopter rides, hot air balloon rides and axe-throwing.

City of Allentown
Allentown's free July 4 event will take place at J. Birney Crum Stadium from 5 to 10 p.m.
The event will offer live music, entertainment, food, family-friendly activities, and, of course, a fireworks show. Gates open at 5 p.m.
The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber
At 10 a.m., The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Heritage Day celebration on July 4, at Slatington Baptist Church.
The free hour-and-a-half-long eventwill feature a speaker and live performances.

National Museum of Industrial History
The Bethlehem Museum will feature a horn and whistle recording session on Independence Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to the museum's website, it offers visitors the chance to "Celebrate the 4th as factories, railroads, and ships have, by sounding whistles and horns."
Tickets for admission to the Museum are required.
Lehighton
Lehighton Parks and Recreation Committee will be hosting a block party from noon to 10 p.m. the Lehighton Lower Park. They will have food, music, games and more. Fireworks will follow.
The best viewing area for the fireworks will be along Sgt. Stanley Hoffman Boulevard. There are other great spots all around Lehighton to watch the show.
Sergeant Stanley Hoffman Boulevard will be closed during the fireworks display. All traffic during this time frame will be detoured from Bridge Street to Third Street. Drivers should take Third Street to Ochre Street make a right on Ochre Street to First Street.
Post-July 4 Celebrations
Can't make it to any of the above events? There are still some firework-viewing opportunities a few days later.
On July 6, the Emerald Fire Company in Slatington will hold its annual fireworks and picnic festivities.
Refreshments open at 4:30 p.m. and music from The Mississippi Pig Farmers begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks begin at 10:30 p.m.
Entrance costs $2 per person and parking costs $10 per car.
A few days later, Easton celebrates its Heritage Day in Downtown Easton, complete with a free fireworks display around 9:30 p.m. at Hackett Park.
The event, which takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, commemorates the city's official reading of the Declaration of Independence — it was one of three locations that held a public reading of the historic document.
Heritage Day will feature history tours, food vendors, live music and entertainment and children's activities.
The event is mostly free, but parking costs a $10 flat rate in the Fourth Street Garage and Third Street Garage. Metered parking is available but limited due to street closures.
