BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Put away the Christmas cookies and bust out the champagne — 2025 is almost here.
Just as Bethlehem is the place to be around Christmastime, spending New Year's in the Lehigh Valley is just as festive.
Here are some fun events happening locally on New Year's Eve 2024:
1. Downtown Allentown New Year's Eve Celebration
Ring in 2025 with a historic celebration in the heart of Allentown.
Head over to the PPL Center at 10 p.m. Dec. 31 for the world’s largest puck drop, presented by the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Celebrate the final moments of 2024 with meLVin, live music, exciting giveaways, food and drinks and much more.
The free community event is held by the Downtown Allentown Business Alliance and the City of Allentown and supports local businesses along Hamilton Street.
2. PeepsFest
Celebrate the New Year in sweet style at Bethlehem's PeepsFest at SteelStacks. The two-day festival from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 30-31, features family-friendly fun, including live music, balloon animals, Peeps-themed games, crafts and shows.
Plus, good neighbors from PBS Channel 39will be on-hand at the PBS 39 x PeepsFest Friendship Bracelet Creation Station and at Peeps in the Kitchen for some hands-on fun. Those events are happening at the Univest Public Media Center that is home base to PBS39, 91.3 WLVR radio, and LehighValleyNews.com.

3. Crayola Experience Jazzberry Jammin' New Year's Eve
Celebrate the New Year with colorful family fun at Crayola Experience on Dec. 31.
Families can enjoy a DJ Dance Party from noon-4 p.m., mid-day countdowns at 1 and 3 p.m. with streamer launches, and character appearances by TIP at 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m.
Plus, kids can get creative with special crafts, coloring pages and activities, including designing a 2025 New Year's crown and creating a resolution list, all included with general admission.
The Crayola Experience will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Dec. 31.
4. Tube in the New Year at Blue Mountain Resort
Tube in the New Year celebration is back at Blue Mountain Resort in Lower Towamensing Township, near Palmerton, Carbon County.
Celebrate the arrival of 2025 at this family-friendly event from 7 p.m.-midnight Tuesday, Dec. 31 at the Snow Tubing Park in the Valley Adventure Center.
Enjoy unlimited snow tubing, a food buffet, party favors, giveaways and a cash bar for those 21 and older. DJ TooMuch will spin live beats throughout the night to keep the energy high.
Please note: All children must be 36 inches or taller to participate in snow tubing.

5. Illumination New Year's Eve Celebration
Following a successful inaugural Christmas lights display, Illumination at Coca-Cola Park is bringing the sparkle this New Year’s Eve.
The new holiday attraction offers fun for the whole family, featuring more than 1 million lights, synchronized shows and festive activities.
The celebration will kick off at 5 p.m., and the fireworks finale at 8 p.m. will be a must-see. You can learn more and purchase tickets on the Illumination webpage.
