A new Mini Golf facility is set to open in South Whitehall.

SOUTH WHITEHALL, Pa. — A new spooky activity is coming to Dorneyville — and it isn't Dorney Park's Halloween festivities.

"Monster Mini Golf" is set to come to the Lehigh Valley, with construction already started, according to an announcement by the company on its Facebook page.

It's not just glow-in-the-dark 18-hole mini golf. The 15,000 square foot facility is also planned to have a laser maze, bowling, virtual reality experiences, an arcade and private party rooms.

"Our goal is to provide something fun for every guest, whether they are 5 or 95," franchise owner Kelly Zambrano said in an email Monday.

The chain entertainment complex is planned to join the Dorneyville Shopping Center at 3227 Hamilton Blvd., which also houses the Dorneyville Aldi and Pizza Hut locations.

Zambrano says completed construction is anticipated for February 2025, with updates and contests to come on their social media.

According to the company, all Monster Mini Golf locations are created with "custom, hand-painted artwork that is locally inspired," highlighting famous people, landmarks and industries from the area.

Monster Mini Golf has other locations in New York and New Jersey, but no others in Pennsylvania, according to its website.

The company states it was founded by Christina and Patrick Vitaglino in Connecticut in 2004.
