Because of the frightful content, audience members younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The horror-themed performance is a spin-off of Cirque Italia, a circus-type, aerial spectacle directed by Manuel Rebecchi.

"Provocative illusionists, freaks and mysterious creatures will make you see that this circus is anything but normal," a news release about the show said.

"A wide range of otherworldly characters will send shivers down your spine. From zombies to erotic witches; sexy vampires to gruesome ghosts and everything in between, there's no shortage of terrifying beings in this show."

During the show, artists also will be dressed up as creepy movie villains. Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers are expected to appear, as is a fired-up Satan.

Paranorma Cirque last stopped at Lehigh Valley Mall in October.
