BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A veteran alternative rock band that had five straight gold and platinum albums in the 1990s will play Wind Creek Event Center, it was announced.
Also set for a show at the venue is an indie rock band that topped the Albums chart in 2011 and had three Top 10 albums in the 2010s.
Tickets are $59.50 ($36.50 for buy three get one free) for general admission standing and $99.50 for seated wings for 311 and at $50.50-$100.50 for The Decemberists. 311, which blended rock, reggae, hip hop and funk for its triple-platinum self-titled 1995 album and since has released nine consecutive Top 10 discs, will perform at 7 p.m. June 28.
Supporting acts will be Badflower and Sitting on Saturn.
And The Decemberists, whose 2011 No. 1 gold album "The King is Dead" produced four Top 10 charting hits, will perform at 8 p.m. July 22.

311, best known for its chart-topping 1995 alternative hit “Down” and Top 5 hit “All Mixed Up,” has sold more than 10 million albums and video albums in the United States.
The group released its debut album “Music” in 1993, and the disc eventually went gold, as did its sophomore disc “Grassroots” in 1994.

The band has released eight albums since, with four in a row reaching No. 1 or No. 2 on the Alternative chart. Its most recent disc, "Full Bloom," was released in October.
Its first single, "You're Gonna Get It," and the title track both reached No. 17 on the Alternative chart as the group's highest-charting songs in 14 years.
Since “All Mixed Up,” the band has had 18 Top 10 Alternative chart hits, with 2004’s “Love Song” hitting No. 1; 2005’s “Don’t Tread on Me” peaking at No. 2 and 2003’s “Creatures (For a While)” and 2009’s “Hey You” both hitting No. 3.
311 also played the event center, then called Sands Bethlehem Event Center, in 2017, and headlined Allentown Fair in 2018.
The Decemberists
The Decemberists released its debut album, "Castaways and Cutouts," in 2002, and had its first charting single, "Billy Liar," which peaked at No. 24, in 2004.
