Coopersburg Farmers Market will be open through October.

COOPERSBURG, Pa. — 'Tis the season for fresh vegetables, juicy fruits and bright-colored flowers.

The Coopersburg Farmers Market will host its grand opening on June 2.

The market will open at 10:45 a.m. with a ribbon cutting at 5 N. Main St.

Mother/daughter duo

The market is operated by Debra Paschall and her daughter, Samantha De Vico.

A variety of vendors will sell produce, meats, honey, baked goods, homemade crafts, soaps, plants and flowers.

Some weeks there will be live music, food trucks and activities for kids, Paschall said.

“By supporting local farmers and small businesses, we strengthen our local economy and bring people together around fresh, high-quality food and handcrafted products,” Paschall said.

Among the vendors: Buns on the Go (hot dogs, crispy chicken sandwiches, apple turnover empanadas); Dreamland Farmstead (organic vegetables, eggs); Fork'd Pierogies (pierogies, Irish cuisine); Dwyer Hill Farms (fresh flowers and plants); Hausman Fruit Farm (seasonal fruits and pastries); Heaton Farm (fresh cut flowers); Let's Go Coffee Company; Lisa's Homemade Dog Treats; MegaGreens Microgreens; Momma's Belly Buster (burgers, fries); Polk Valley Farm (fresh dairy products); R&B Apiaries (raw honey); Schantzenbach Farms (pork and beef); SweetnSassy Treatz (baked desserts); The Original Tea Co. & Patisserie (pastries, brewed teas).

“We want the Coopersburg Farmers Market to be a place where people come together, get to know their community and local producers, and simply enjoy a fun day out,” Paschall said. “Our region has so much talent and agricultural richness to offer. The market allows us to celebrate that.”

The Coopersburg Farmers Market will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays June 2 through Oct. 27.
