ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Allentown Repertory Dance Theatre and Allentown Symphony Orchestra are seeking dancers for its celebrated annual production of The Nutcracker.

Auditions for the performance are scheduled for Aug. 25 at Repertory Ballet Academy, 6426 Memorial Road, Allentown.

Dancers will perform as the Allentown Symphony Orchestra plays Tchaikovsky's score and professional guest artists are joined by a cast of 100 dancers, according to Miller Symphony Hall.

Audition forms can be found on the Repertory Dance Theatre of the Lehigh Valley website.

Dancers must be age 6 and older.

Dancers from all studios, including college dancers, are welcome.

Rehearsals are to be held on Saturdays and potentially Sundays, depending on role.
