BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Folks wasted little time in heading for cover Monday night as a severe storm approached.
It came during the fourth night of Musikfest, which draws tens of thousands of people nightly to Bethlehem for music, food and drink.
This time-lapse video comes from the live weather camera stationed atop the Univest Public Media Center— home to LehighValleyNews.com, PBS39 and 91.3 WLVR radio.
Watch as it shows the skies darken, wind-swept rains blow through, then a brightening sky as the sun sets beyond the blast furnaces.
The weather camera overlooks Levitt Pavilion on the SteelStacks campus, which during Musikfest is transformed into Americaplatz.
ArtsQuest, which organizes Musikfest, suspended all festival activities as the storm approached, including the concert by Monday night headliner Walker Hayes.
