Coinciding with Amazon's Prime Days going on now, ArtsQuest offers two-day flash sale to show appreciation to patrons and community.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Early holiday shoppers, take note.

ArtsQuest is saying thank you with two days of discounts starting today.

“As a thank you to patrons, members and the community for their continued support of the arts,ArtsQuest is offering incredible can’t miss deals!” it said in a news release Tuesday.

"We thought it would be a great way to say thank you to supporters of ArtsQuest and to help introduce others if they’re new to our events and programming."
ArtsQuest Director of Communications Jennifer LoConte

If you prefer giving the gift of an experience as opposed to a “thing,” the release says it’s offering shoppers the following up until a minute before midnight Wednesday, Oct. 9:

  • Purchase a Musikfest mug and receive two cinema passes ($20 value)
  • Get 20% off a book of 10 cinema passes
  • Get 50% off Ice Rink Mondays through Dec. 9

The two-day Thank You deals, which is the first time for the promotion, started at 8 a.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Mug and cinema pass options are for pick-up at the ArtsQuest Center box office only and cannot be shipped, the release said.

"Yes, this is new and does coincide with Amazon Prime Days," ArtsQuest Director of Communications Jennifer LoConte said.

"We thought it would be a great way to say thank you to supporters of ArtsQuest and to help introduce others if they’re new to our events and programming."

Banko Cinema and ice rink

ArtsQuest’s Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at ArtsQuest Center, 101 Founders Way, recently installed new 4K projectors, which provide four times the resolution quality of standard high definition.

Images appear sharper, colors are more vibrant, and scenes “come to life with remarkable realism,” according to an Artsquest news release last week.

“With the recent upgrade in picture quality, lighting and screening equipment, the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas provide an experience like never before,” it said.

Patrons have the option of bringing preferred food and beverages into the theater or can go early to its first-floor restaurant, Palette & Pour.

It features live performances during dinner, dessert and drinks Thursdays through Sundays starting at 6 p.m.

Half-off Mondays at the Ice Rink at SteelStacks will be held through Dec. 9. ArtsQuest avails the rink to the public for birthday parties and private events.
