BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Wegmans customers across the Lehigh Valley and beyond were hit with robocalls Wednesday with detailed information on another product recall.
Wegmans on Tuesday, Oct. 22, issued a recall for its store-brand frozen waffles and pancakes because of potential listeria contamination.
The company notified holders of its shoppers club cards with a pre-recorded message on the recall. However, those messages may contain information on a known purchase dating to spring 2023.
It’s unknown how long ago the affected products were sold. LehighValleyNews.com has reached out to Wegmans for more information.
According to the company’s website, one way to identify the recalled products is through the UPC code printed on the box.

All lot codes of the products are included in the recall, the company said.
Affected customers can return the product/s to the service desk of any Wegmans for a full refund.
It's the seventh recall this month for potential listeria contamination of products sold at Wegmans stores.
Customers with additional questions can call Wegmans Food Markets at 1-855-934-3663 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday or from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Wegmans has three locations in the Lehigh Valley, with stores in the Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton areas.
