EASTON, Pa. — A Philadelphia man charged in the shooting death of an Easton man in a city convenience store parking lot a year and a half ago will stand trial in Northampton County Court on homicide charges.
Rasheed Quayle Tisdale faced a preliminary hearing Thursday on one count each of homicide and conspiracy to commit homicide in the death of Legious Minder, Sr., 46.
District Judge Nicholas Englesson ruled there was sufficient evidence to have Tisdale face the charges in Northampton County Court, District Attorney Stephen Baratta in a release.
Tisdale remains in Northampton County Prison.
Minder was shot just after 11 p.m. Oct. 26, 2023, in the parking lot of Chubby's Market, 154 W. St. Joseph’s St. on Easton's South Side.
After being shot, Minder was taken to a local hospital but died of his injuries, police said.
At the preliminary hearing, the district attorney "presented extensive evidence outlining the months-long investigation, including surveillance video and sophisticated cell telephone location evidence" to establish Tisdale's involvement in the killing, the release said.
Kameron Barnes Nuble, 34, was charged with the same offenses in July, and after an October preliminary hearing, was ordered to face the charges in Northampton County Court.
Nuble also remains in Northampton County Prison.
The men were arrested by Easton police with the Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Fugitive Task Force and SWAT Team, the release said.
