EASTON, Pa. — A beloved Bucks County pub will make its way to Easton with a new location this fall.
Vault Brewing of Yardley is set to open at 225 Ferry St. in late October, according to an announcement Monday on Facebook.
Vault posted a photo of the former Access Networks building it will occupy.
Vault is a hallmark for beer aficionados across the craft scene.
“It's just a great town," Leypoldt said of Easton. "It kind of mimics what we're doing in Yardley; we're on the river here as well. We just saw a great opportunity in Easton. We love the whole vibe of the city."Vault Brewing Company Director of Operations Eric Leypoldt
It is known for intriguing brews such as Dead Cat Bounce, a Double New England-style IPA that hits hard with an 8.0% alcohol content.
Or Liquid Asset, a Farmhouse Saison “brewed with a complex variety of pilsner malts, raw wheat, and spelt malt from Deer Creek Malthouse [and] fermented on French oak staves with a gentle dry hopping of Nelson Sauvin during primary fermentation.”
Vault Brewing Co. Director of Operations Eric Leypoldt said the company is thrilled to make its way into Easton and bring with it the expected high-quality brews and food for which its Yardley location is known.

'Spacious and beautiful'
The new location marks Vault Brewing’s second spot, but the sixth business operating under the Vault Brewing & Companies umbrella, Leypoldt said.
It has launched an independent Instagram page for the Easton location.
“Although it’s not an old bank or financial building, there is something undeniably ‘us’ inside of this space, and we are excited to welcome it into the fold."Eric Leypoldt
Its social media post said 225 Ferry St., near Sette Luna, fit the bill as “spacious and beautiful, with an open and industrial feeling, and it also has an outdoor patio space.”
“Although it’s not an old bank or financial building, there is something undeniably ‘us’ inside of this space, and we are excited to welcome it into the fold,” the post reads.
Leypoldt said beer will not be brewed at the new location; instead, it will be sent in from Yardley, likely on a weekly basis.
And while the menu, as crafted by Chef Will Porras, will be familiar, it will have a bit of a spin all its own, he said.
As opposed to wood-fired pizza, a staple of the Yardley spot, Easton likely will feature artisan flatbreads with toppings such as Fulper Farms mozzarella, peaches and prosciutto, wild mushrooms and more, Leypoldt said.
It also will have pub staples with a special twist, such as duck carnitas tacos, chicken souvlaki, the stacked Vault Burger and more.
Leypoldt said he's confident guests will enjoy pairing their new favorite dishes with novel brews.
The Easton location’s equipment has been installed, and additional construction is underway. Leypoldt said “the contractor seems fairly motivated, so I think it’s going to move along pretty quickly.”
It could open in just a couple months, Leypoldt said.
And if you’re at a loss as to what you should try?
“I mean, you can't go wrong with ‘Of Hops and Clouds,’ it's our number one selling Hazy Pale Ale," Leypoldt said. "And you can pair that with our buffalo cauliflower or a Brown Sugar Buffalo Flatbread.”
