HANOVER TWP, Pa. - Thousands of people gathered Monday for a rally in Hanover Township, Northampton County, with President Donald Trump.
Attendees began arriving in the early morning hours. People stood shivering, some wrapped in blankets on a cold and wet morning.

Susan Fooskas of Hellertown and her family were some of the first to arrive. But she said the wait was worth it and that she’s not anxious about the election.
"The news is fake. The polls are fake. If you remember last year, Hillary Clinton was - er - last election she was winning by a landslide. It’s going to be a big red wave," said Fooskas.
Comments about fake news were frequent this morning. And so was the discussion about COVID. Temperature checks were required to get in and masks were encouraged.

But many attendees like Edward Young from New Jersey, who’s said he’s been to more than 40 Trump rallies this year, wasn’t wearing his.
"For one thing I don’t believe the mask can help me if it’s as contagious and deadly as they say I don’t think a piece of cloth over my face is going to save my *bleep*," said Young.
Young was also concerned with mail-in voting and election fraud. And he along with many others in attendance said they will be voting in person on Election Day.
