EASTON, Pa. - Election season is fast approaching and Northampton County will once again be setting up ballot boxes throughout the county.
Voters will have the option to participate in this year’s elections by dropping absentee ballots off at one of four locations throughout the county, one in each district.
Starting Oct. 4, voters will be able to deposit ballots in boxes at the rotunda in the Government Center in Easton, the Human Services Building in Bethlehem, the Northampton County 911 Center in Nazareth or at Bethlehem City Hall.
Registered voters may take their absentee ballots to these secure boxes to participate but must only drop off their own ballots, not a friend, family member or neighbor’s.
Voters have until Oct. 26 to request an absentee ballot for the Nov. 2 elections.
