Superior Restaurant at 102 E. Main St. in Emmaus will host Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" on Election Day morning on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

EMMAUS, Pa. — “FOX & Friends” is coming to the borough on Election Day.

The popular FOX News Channel show will be live from Superior Restaurant, 102 Main St., with “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy.

It’s part of a plan by the show’s producers for co-hosts to be live from swing state diners in the days leading up to Election Day.

The show airs from 6 to 9 a.m. weekdays.

The Raptis family has owned Superior since 1980.

Co-owner Frank Raptis said he believes producers found out about the place after U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick rented out space there for a lunch banquet.

"They told us they want to come to talk to local residents and see what their needs are, what their stances are.”

“He was here to talk to local residents,” Raptis said of the Republican candidate, “and from there it just kind of took off.

"They told us they want to come to talk to local residents and see what their needs are, what their stances are.”

Two other Pennsylvania eateries are among the stops “Fox & Friends” will make in the next week. The others are in Gap, in Lancaster County, and in Tyrone in Blair County.

While Fox News Channel is known for its conservative leanings, Raptis said the family and the restaurant try to stay out of the political world.

“We have no political views,” he told LehighValleyNews.com. “We provide food, that’s all we do. We play it safe that way.”

He said word of the show being at Superior has stirred a buzz. About 30 people already have made reservations for breakfast on Election Day, he said.

“We’re neutral,” he said. “But we’re more than supportive of this and we’ll take the publicity, too.”
