Throughout his campaign, the president-elect made several promises: to deport millions of migrants in the country illegally, to impose specific tariffs on goods coming from countries like China, Canada and Mexico, and more.
Just how realistic are those promises, and how much power does a sitting president have to enact them?
"You make claims, you make promises during an election that the public generally expects you to act on," said Borick. "You should act in a way that is based upon the preferences of the electorate that put you in office."
