BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Drop boxes for mail-in ballots for the upcoming primary election will be in place at seven locations in Northampton County starting Monday, according to the county elections office.
The drop box at the Northampton County 911 Center will be in the main entrance vestibule and will be the only drop box accessible around the clock.
The other six locations are inside buildings and available during regular business hours.
Lehigh County has not yet announced its drop box locations for the May 20 primary.
The last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot to vote is May 13.
Applications for mail-in or civilian absentee ballots are available in the elections office or on the Northampton County website.
Here are the drop box locations in Northampton County:
- Washington Township Municipal Building (Interior Hallway), 1021 Washington Blvd., Bangor. Hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Election Day
- East Allen Township Municipal Building (Main Lobby)
5344 Nor Bath Blvd., Northampton. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Election Day - NCC Fowler Family Southside Center (Main Lobby), 511 E. 3rd St., Bethlehem. Hours: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Election Day
- Northampton County Courthouse (Rotunda)

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Election Day - Northampton County Human Services Building (Main Entrance Vestibule), 2801 Emrick Blvd., Bethlehem. The Northampton County Elections Division also will begin conducting Logic & Accuracy Testing of the voting machines today, Monday, April 21.
The testing will take place at the election warehouse beginning at 10 a.m. It will continue daily, beginning at 9 a.m., until completed.
Testing is open to the public at 10 Gracedale Ave., Upper Nazareth. Photography and video footage at the warehouse are prohibited.
