The show also comes in advance of the May 11 end of the nation’s public health emergency declaration.
Host Brittany Sweeney will speak with infectious disease experts Dr. Jeffrey Jahre from St. Luke’s University Health Network and Dr. Timothy Friel of Lehigh Valley Health Network. They’ll touch on current infection rates, the outlook and what the end of the public health emergency means for you.
Sweeney is LehighValleyNews.com’s health and wellness reporter, and during the show, she’ll also examine medication shortages at pharmacies and how schools are managing the pandemic today.
Other guests include Vince Hartzell of Hartzell’s Pharmacy in Catasauqua; and Kelly Keegan, a certified school nurse with the Easton Area School District. Therapist Shonda Moralis also will join the show to discuss managing mental health.
