ArtsQuest has announced a new Old World Wine Dinner in the Blast Furnace Room at ArtsQuest Center on Sept. 20 and Fall Winefest & Market will be on Oct. 29 at the Banana Factory.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — ArtsQuest has never been an organization to just go with the flow.

But the nonprofit will be all about the flow — of wine, that is — when it holds a new Old World Wine Dinner and Fall Winefest & Market.

  • ArtsQuest will hold an Old World Wine Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Fowler Blast Furnace Room at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks
  • It also will hold a two-session Fall Winefest & Market will be on Oct. 29 at the Banana Factory, 25 W. 3rd St., Bethlehem
  • Tickets, at $99 for the Old World Wine Dinner and $19 for ArtsQuest members and circle donors and $24 for the public for the Fall Winefest & Market, are available to the public on Aug. 3 on the SteelStacks website

ArtsQuest announced Monday that the Old World Wine Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Fowler Blast Furnace Room on the second floor of the ArtsQuest Center.

And the two-session Fall Winefest & Market will be on Oct. 29 at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem.

“We are thrilled to be working with some of our region’s best wineries again! After selling out this year’s Winter Winefest, we have put together an event that celebrates both the time of year and the hard work that these vintners do day in and day out."
ArtsQuest Senior Programming Director Ryan Hill

Tickets at $99 for the Old World Wine Dinner are available to the public on Aug. 3 on the SteelStacks website.

Tickets for the Fall Winefest & Market are $19 for ArtsQuest members and circle donors and $24 for the public until 11:59 p.m. Aug. 20, when they will be $24 and $29, respectively, and $29 and $34 the week of the event.

ArtsQuest held its first Winter Winefest and Market in February.

The organization did not say whether a Winter Winefest would continue.

Old World Wine Dinner

The Old World Wine Dinner will be produced in partnership with Jay Nee of Juniper and Grain beverage hospitality.

A four-course dinner, provided by Levy Restaurant, will be paired with wines from around the greater Mediterranean Sea region.

"I’m so excited to explore these wines and food from Greece, Austria, Lebanon and Portugal. These lesser-known wine regions have a wonderful, rich history that should be explored by anyone who likes wine. The culinary team has put together a series of great dishes which will allow our guests to themselves to experience different cultures.”

Courses will start with Peloponnese Dry White Wine (Greece) with a Mediterranean mezze platter of chickpea hummus and grilled pita.

A second course will be Gof runer Veltiner Hollotrio (Austria) Backhendl and Austrian fried chicken bites; and a third course of Bekaa Valley Red Wine (Lebanon) with grilled lamb lollipop and rice pilaf.

The fourth course dessert will be Brut Nature Branco Bairrada Metodo (Portugal), Malasadas, traditional Portuguese doughnut, with cinnamon sugar and blueberry compote.

Full details are available on the SteelStacks website.
