BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Coalition For Appropriate Transportation (CAT) celebrates Lehigh Valley Bike to Work Week, May 13-21, with the mayors of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton.

The group is offering three in-person group bike rides, according to a news release:

  • Easton City Hall with Mayor Sal Panto: 2:30-3:30 p.m. on May 17
  • Bethlehem City Hall with Mayor William Reynolds: noon to 1 p.m. on May 18
  • Bike Ride at Allentown City Hall with Mayor Matt Tuerk: noon to 1 p.m. on May 19

Helmet-wearing riders aged 16 and older are invited to share a bike tour of each city, CAT said in a written statement. Bike safety checks will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. before each ride.

Virtual rides throughout the week in Lehigh or Northampton counties will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
