EASTON, Pa. — An Irish male singing ensemble that has had three albums in the Top 10 on the World Music chart will make a return trip to the Lehigh Valley.
Celtic Thunder, known for its eclectic, theatrical show, backed by the Celtic Thunder Band, will bring a brand-new show, "An Intimate Evening with Celtic Thunder," to Easton's State Theatre.
The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13.

The new show will celebrate the group's greatest hits and reunite present and past members for a special night of music and nostalgia.
The show will blend classic Irish folk songs with contemporary favorites that have defined the group’s legacy.
Publicity for the show promised "the return of familiar faces, alongside surprise guests. Fans can expect a heartfelt experience as the group reconnects through music and memories."
Celtic Thunder, formed in 2007 in Ireland, performs a show of songs sung in solo and ensemble numbers. It has released 17 albums of new material, the first three of which placed in the Top 10 on the World Music chart.
Its latest, “Celtic Thunder: The Live Experience," was released in November.
In December 2009, Billboard magazine chose Celtic Thunder the Top World Album Artist.
Celtic Thunder performed at Wind Creek Event Center, then called Sands Bethlehem Event Center, in 2016.
It also played the event center for a PBS39 fundraiser in 2012 and played there again with a “Very Best of” show with actor/singer Damian McGinty of the TV show “Glee,” as a guest artist in 2015.
