Traffic safety is on the minds of many in Whitehall Township after a resident died after being struck by a car outside of his home on Christmas night.
Megan talks to LehighValleyNews.com general assignment reporter Phil Gianficaro, who has been following the story of 75-year-old Edward Tomcics. Residents have complained for years about speeding on the street.
As Phil previously reported, community members packed a township commissioners meeting last month, seeking action. Now, Whitehall Township officials are considering shutting down Water Street for a traffic safety study.
