Philadelphia man arrested in 2023 shooting death in Easton convenience store parking lot

EASTON, Pa. — A Philadelphia man was apprehended and charged Wednesday in the 2023 shooting death of a man in the parking lot of an Easton convenience store, officials said.

Kameron Barnes Nuble was charged with one count of homicide and one count of conspiracy to commit homicide in the Oct. 26, 2023, death of Legious Minder, 46, of Easton, the Northampton County District Attorney's office said in a release.

The shooting took place in the parking lot of Chubby's Market, 154 W. St. Joseph’s St. on Easton's South Side, the release said.

Nuble was taken into custody at his Philadelphia home by Easton Police, with the help of Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Fugitive Task Force and SWAT team, the release said.

It's expeceted Nuble will appear before a district judge today for preliminary arraignment. The district attorney's office said it plans to ask that no bail be set.

After being shot, Minder was taken to a local hospital but later died of his injuries, police said.
