A honeygrow restaurant is planned for the Airport Road Shopping Center in Hanover Township, Lehigh County

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A fast-growing restaurant chain that offers made-to-order stir-fry, salads and honey bars says it will open its first Lehigh Valley location.

The newest honeygrow location will open in Airport Shopping Center at 1872 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, the chain said in an email.

The restaurant will be next to the AT&T store in the shopping center.

Spokeswoman Emily Cummins said the chain does "not have an opening date for Allentown at this time."

honeygrow's name "is a play on the phrase 'honest eating + growing local.' The phrase succinctly illustrates our commitment to providing the freshest food possible, while working with local purveyors and partners whenever possible."

It will be the Philadelphia-based fast-casual chain's 23rd location in Pennsylvania. The closest location to the Valley now is in Quakertown Plaza along Route 309 in Quakertown.

The honeygrow website says the name "is a play on the phrase 'honest eating + growing local.'"

"The phrase succinctly illustrates our commitment to providing the freshest food possible, while working with local purveyors and partners whenever possible," the website says.

"The 'growing local' aspect extends into our community activations + partnerships, where we work alongside like-minded businesses to improve each community we call home."

'Thrilled to join Lehigh Valley'

The chain said in a release that "honeygrow is thrilled to join the Lehigh Valley community with its first location in the area. The Allentown honeygrow will join existing brands like Five Below, Target, Sam's Club, Miller's Ale House, and DSW."

The chain also said plans to soon open locations in Montrose, Ohio; Falls Church, Virginia; and Glen Burnie, Maryland.

“We are thrilled to start 2025 by expanding our footprint with these four new leases and several more in the pipeline," honeygrow founder and Chief Executive Officer Justin Rosenberg said in the release.

“These new locations represent markets that have long supported our mission, and we are eager to continue growing with them."

In all, the chain has more than 50 locations across the Northeast and Midwest.
