Dorothy, led by vocalist Dorothy Martin, released its debut self-titled EP in 2014, when Rolling Stone magazine chose the band as one of its "Artists You Need to Know" and No. 14 on its annual list of 50 Best New Artists.

But Dorothy didn't hit the charts until it released its first full-length album, "Rockisdead," in 2016.

That disc's single "Raise Hell," hit No. 31 on the Mainstream rock chart.

The group broke the Top 10 on that chart for the first time in 2018 with the song "Flawless" from its sophomore album, "28 Days in the Valley."

It had even bigger success with its third album, 2022's "Gifts from the Holy Ghost," which included the No. 2 hit "Rest in Peace" and No. 9 hit "Black Sheep."

The group's most recent album, "The Way," released in March, had the hit "MUD," which peaked at No. 3.

Its most recent single, "Tombstone," featuring Guns 'N Roses guitarist Slash, released this year, peaked at No. 15.

Martin sang on Slash's 2024 album "Orgy of the Damned."
