Marshall Tucker Band's self-titled debut album in 1973 went gold behind the single "Can't You See."

It followed that with six more studio albums, two live albums and a compilation disc through 1978 — all of which sold gold or platinum.

Its highest-charting album was 1975's “Searching for a Rainbow,” which hit the Top 15. But its largest seller was 1977's "Carolina Dreams," which sold platinum and contained the hit “Heard It in a Love Song.”

The group had a Top 30 country hit as late as 1990’s “Stay in the Country.”

Singer Doug Gray is the only original member of the group still performing with it.

Marshall Tucker Band performed at Quakertown's Univest Performance Center in 2018.

The Chippendales started in 1979 as the first all-male stripping troupe to make a business performing for mostly female audiences.

Through the quality of its staging and choreography, it helped legitimize stripping as a form of popular entertainment.

It is known for its bow tie collar and wrist cuffs with bare chests.

The troupe has performed several shows at the event center.
