NORTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Former President Donald Trump is returning to the Lehigh Valley next week.
The presumptive Republican nominee for president will hold a rally Saturday night, April 13, at the Schnecksville Fire Hall, according to his campaign website. He’ll also hold a fundraiser in Bucks County that day, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
Trump last came to the Lehigh Valley as president in October 2020 when – just days before Election Day – he visited HoverTech International, a medical equipment manufacturer in Hanover Township, Northampton County.
His visit next week to Schnecksville will come just two days before the scheduled start of his criminal trial in New York City in the hush money case involving adult film star Stormy Daniels.

The rally will be held outside the fire hall at 4550 Old Packhouse Road, according to a fire company representative.
The rally will begin at 7 p.m. but people will begin to be admitted at 3 p.m., according to Trump’s campaign website.
Candidate support
Kevin Dellicker, a Lehigh Valley congressional candidate who has endorsed Trump, said he also plans to attend the rally and welcomes the former president.
“I think Trump is going to make a strong contrast between what he has to offer, compared to what Joe Biden has delivered," Dellicker said in a prepared statement. "I look forward to hearing him speak to a supportive and raucous crowd."
Republicans Ryan Mackenzie, Maria Montero and Dellicker are seeking the GOP nomination in the April 23 primary election to face incumbent U.S. Rep. Susan Wild, a Democrat, in the fall.
Mackenzie's campaign said he will be in Schnecksville for the rally.
“Being the first candidate to publicly endorse Donald Trump for president and a proud America First conservative, I am excited to welcome President Trump to the Lehigh Valley next week," he said in a statement.
Trump will square off in the fall against Biden in a rematch of the 2020 election and what is expected to be another close race.
Biden campaign
Biden visited the Lehigh Valley in January. His Pennsylvania campaign released this statement in response to the former president's planned Lehigh Valley visit:
"Donald Trump spent four years pushing an extreme agenda that was devastating for Pennsylvania and the Lehigh Valley. ... Trump would be better off continuing to hide out in Mar-a-Lago than coming face to face with the Pennsylvania voters he repeatedly failed."
