“Good Morning Lehigh Valley" "will feature topics and people to keep listeners informed on matters of importance in the Lehigh Valley,” Osborne said in a news release.
“This show is a way for me to stay involved in the community where I grew up and bring listeners information about a variety of topics pertaining to their daily lives.”
The announcement comes after Osborne decided not to run to keep his commissioner's seat.
Osborne said previously that he wanted to be on the board to ensure the township had a balanced, process-oriented approach to its issues, and that goal now “has largely been achieved.”
'An exciting new adventure'
Osborne said even though he will not be a commissioner next year, he wants to remain engaged in the community in a substantial way and thinks the show is a good way to do that.

Osborne said he has been an elected official for 17 years, so he decided he wanted to do something different.
“It’s an exciting new adventure for me,” Osborne said.
"Good Morning Lehigh Valley" will air from 9-10 a.m. Tuesdays on WGPA Sunny 1100. Osborne said he also will post the interviews on the show’s Facebook page.
In the May 16 primary, township Public Safety Commission member Chris Peischl won the Republican nomination, along with incumbents Diane Kelly and Jacob Roth.
Roth and Kelly had endorsed Peischl for the soon-to-be vacant seat left by Osborne.
Kelly, Peischl and Roth will be on the general election ballot for the three contested seats along with former township commissioner Thomas Johns, who ran uncontested on the Democratic ticket.
Upcoming episodes
The first episode of "Good Morning Lehigh Valley" on May 30 will feature interviews with two guests: former U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent and Lehigh Valley IronPigs President and General Manager Kurt Landes.
Osborne said he will interview each guest separately for a half hour each.
The next episode on June 6 will feature a group conversation with state Rep. Josh Siegel, D-Lehigh, North Whitehall Township Manager Randy Cope and Tina Hamilton, chief executive officer of myHR Partner Inc.
Osborne said the guests will spend the hour discussing a bill Siegel and other lawmakers are working to introduce that would create a pilot program to incentivize small businesses to try a four-day work week.
North Whitehall recently started a four-day work week trial for township employees and Hamilton has written articles in support of the idea.
