BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Bethlehem Area School District has announced the appointment of a new Liberty High School principal.
Brandon B. Horlick, who most recently was principal of Broughal Middle School in Bethlehem, will be the 14th principal in the school's history.
He succeeds Harrison Bailey III, who resigned in February to become Wilson Area School District superintendent.

Horlick has more than 15 years of experience in secondary education, a news release Tuesday said.

'The school's continued success'
Horlick got a master’s degree in secondary education social studies at Kutztown University, and a principal certification at Moravian University.
He also holds certifications in special education and secondary education.

He also had been a middle school assistant principal, and special education teacher and social studies teacher.
Bethlehem Area Superintendent Jack Silva expressed his confidence in Horlick’s ability to lead Liberty into its next chapter.

makes him the ideal choice for this important role," Silva said.

According to the release, Horlick's leadership will focus on driving academic excellence, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, and engaging with the community to build a shared vision for the high school's future.
