Local officials in places like Lowhill Township want more tools to help them control industrial development and traffic in their borders.

The work would begin near Liberty High School, traveling about a ¾-mile south to an intersection just north of Nisky Hill Cemetery.

Lehigh Valley International Airport served a record number of passengers in 2024, according to a news release on Wednesday from the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.The airport served 1,012,240 passengers last year, an increase of 8.7% from 2023.Also, Allegiant Air will resume service from ABE to Denver and Nashville starting in May.

Bethlehem roadway improvements will include, but are not limited to, installation of curb bump outs and pedestrian refuge islands at certain intersections to reduce the crossing distance.
